Amanda Do is a Lawyer in the Abuse Law team at Maurice Blackburn’s Parramatta office. She was admitted to practice in 2019, is trauma informed and displays empathy when guiding her clients.

“I am motivated by the part that I play in providing access to justice to people from all walks of life and in particular, to the most vulnerable in our community. Whilst it is difficult, if not impossible to quantify damages for the abhorrent experiences that victims of abuse have been subjected to, I am driven in my role of assisting my clients obtain compensation, and to receive an acknowledgement for the pain and suffering they have and continue to endure.”

Amanda regularly negotiates out-of-court settlements by representing clients in mediations and informal settlement conferences. The majority of her matters resolve through negotiations, however, when litigation is necessary and recommended, Amanda is experienced in litigating matters in the District Court and Supreme Court of New South Wales.
