Cash Converters Queensland class actions
Two class actions by Maurice Blackburn commenced in the Federal Court of Australia seeking compensation for Queensland borrowers who took out payday loans from Cash Converters stores or online.PERSONAL LOANS CLASS ACTION
The ‘Personal Loans’ Class Action concerned personal loans taken out between 30 July 2009 and 30 June 2013.
The second and final instalment refund payments were processed by EFT to eligible Group Members in December 2020.
All refund payments have now been made to eligible Group Members.
Maurice Blackburn has sent correspondence to all eligible Group Members confirming the outcome of their refund payment.
The class action settlement is now finalised and no further payments will be made.
CASH ADVANCES CLASS ACTION
The ‘Cash Advances’ Class Action concerned Cash Advance loans taken out between 28 April 2012 and 30 June 2013. The case settled in 2018.
All refund payments have now been made to eligible Group Members and no further payments will be made.
